Rae Hendrie set up Rae Casting in 2022 after 25 years in the industry as an actress and then in casting. She worked for and learned from casting directors Nicky Bligh, Catherine Willis, Nina Gold, Julie Harkin and Jill Trevellick along the way.
The years spent acting has given Rae an empathy and respect for actors and the work they do and she still gets a buzz when actors nail it.
Rae won the RTS award for casting with Julie Harkin in 2021 for their work on Industry (BBC/HBO).
A big lover of television, film and theatre, Rae is a member of BAFTA and the CDG.
